Chateau Trip

We had a fabulous trip helped by glorious sunshine. The girls had an amazing
time and coped with mud, snails, spiders and boys admirably. Their French
certainly improved – they weren’t allowed to eat until they had practised their
French vocab! As well as learning archery, fencing, wall climbing, circus skills and
crawling through tunnels of mud, they did receive some culture in the form of the
Bayeux Tapestry. However, when asked I’m sure the most memorable occasion was
the market, where all sorts of French bling was bargained for (in French!). The fact
that the teachers had a great time too is a credit to the girls’ impeccable manners. |
