Class 1 (Vic) went off to Windsor Castle on January 30. We had a wonderful time looking inside St. George's Chapel and looking at all the old kings.

"That's where Queen Camilla got married!" a child pointed out.

We then had a super talk about all the different sorts of materials that are in the castle including some of the ones that got burnt in the fire. We were also allowed to sit on one of the queen's carpets!

After lunch we went inside the castle and looked at all the rooms that the Queen uses - some were very big!

Unfortunately the Queen wasn't home so we couldn't pop in and so hello but we were lucky enough to see the changing of the guards.

We had a wonderful day at Windsor Castle and some children are hoping to go back in half term!
