The cookery school opened it's doors last week to an enthusiastic class of twelve ladies all ready to be shown how to rustle up a few delicious canapes this festive season. They left armed with recipes and the confidence to have a go themselves.
On Wednesday 28th November saw the first of the dinner party entertaining day course. We had a super group of eight and the kitchen buzzed with excitement and chatter of course, they all produced a dinner for two which they took home to enjoy. The menu used seasonal produce, Butternut squash , sage and chili souffles followed by Duck breasts with a dried cherry sauce , parsnip gratin and individual apple tartes with a vanilla mascarpone cream . I think they may be back next term!
